Community Support Fund financial overview 2018-19

Financial overview of income and expenditure, and total outstanding commitments for 2018-19.

In 2018-19, the CSF received $147.74 million in revenue and incurred $143.39 million in expenditure. Funding from the CSF was provided to support various projects with community benefits that align with the CSF funding objectives legislated in the Gambling Regulation Act 2003.

Below is a percentage breakdown of the CSF 2018-19 grant expenditure by funding purpose:

  • 86.09 per cent of the CSF funding in 2018-19 was allocated for tackling problem gambling (26.68 per cent) as well as drug and alcohol treatment and rehabilitation (59.41 per cent), which are the top two priorities for the CSF; and
  • the remaining 13.91 per cent of funding was allocated across various other funding objectives.
